American Horror Story; Coven, Episode 311: “Protect the Coven”

I am not even disturbed by Delphine LaLaurie anymore, I just want her to finish up with whoever she is torturing so that the episode can maybe pick up some semblance of a plot. I’m done. I don’t care who the Supreme is. I don’t care if anyone digs up Misty. I just want this season to be over so I can pretend it never happened. The Delphine/Queenie dynamic is an interesting one, and in spite of Madame LaLaurie’s laundry list of wrongdoings, I still think that Queenie will come around. After all, they bonded over fast food and fashion – that bedazzled tiger sweatshirt sported by Delphine was breathtaking. Continue reading “American Horror Story: Coven, Episode 307: “The Dead””

American Horror Story: Coven, Episode 305: “Burn, Witch, Burn!”

I’ve come to expect a certain level of cheesiness from Coven. I’m still annoyed by the painful one-liners (“She done mess with the wrong witch” being perhaps the most repellant thus far), but I can tolerate them. What I cannot tolerate from this show, however, is predictability, and “Burn, Witch, Burn!” contains some surprisingly clichéd moments.
